Democrats are Ignorant Morons

The Central American Free Trade Agreement narrowly passed the U.S. House last night by 217 to 215. Republican leadership had to take the increasingly not-so-rare step of holding voting open until they could pressure enough Republicans to support the agreement. While most Republicans voted for it, all but 15 Democrats voted against it. It’s time for libertarians to stop playing nice with liberals. Opposing free trade is no different than opposing the teaching of evolution in school. Both positions are based on profound ignorance of science. Whenever liberals oppose free trade we should accuse them of being just as ignorant as social conservatives. I mean really, saying free trade is bad is like saying that the Earth is flat or the sun revolves around the Earth. It’s just plain ignorant of hundreds of years of science. People who oppose free trade are just as ignorant as these folks.
