Literally Anything

According to today’s Washington Post Virginia politicians are fed-up with bloggers and their shenanigans. Shayna Englin, who may or may not be joining her husband as an elected official in the near future, complains, “the whole thing about being anonymous is that there's no accountability. They can literally post anything." Delegate Brian Moran (D-Alexandria) goes even further, telling the Post: "Anyone who does it anonymously is being cowardly, in my opinion. [Blogs] don't seem to be used constructively at this point. It just seems to be wild potshots at people."

I wonder if it occurs to Brian Moran that people may blog anonymously because they fear retribution from elected officials. Fortunately for him, we here at “To the People” are above taking potshots at people so he doesn’t have to suffer through jokes about being a complete Moran.

On the other hand, for proof of Shayna Englin’s assertion that bloggers can like..oh my gawd…literally post anything, see Baylen’s “Fuck my wife” post below.
