Papa Don't Preach; He Writes, Fishes and Drinks

Modern Drunkard recounts a fun and True Account of One Man’s Daring Attempt to Drink America’s Greatest Writer Under the the Table. Seems a man challenged Ernest Hemingway to a drinking contest, trying to win back his family's honor after the author had obliterated his braggart brother in an earlier test of alcoholic mettle. Beyond likening the storyteller to Santiago and Hemingway to the sharks, I won't spoil the ending to this good, quick read.
