Sex in the (windy) City

Via an anonymous source, I was alerted to a brilliant editorial by conservative columnist Steve Chapman of the Chicago Tribune in support of legalizing prostitution (registration required). He writes, “There is a prostitution problem in Iran, for heaven's sake. If mullahs ruling an Islamic theocracy can't stamp out these transactions, the Chicago police aren't about to.” My favorite quote is, “Politicians may think prostitution is a grim, degrading life. But prostitutes think the same of politics.”
