Something to Suck On

Today’s issue of Decatur Daily, an Alabama newspaper, contains an excellent editorial in defense of the right of stores to sell marijuana-flavored candy. Chicago just banned such candy. New York is considering a similar ban. The Daily calls such bans an “absurd government disruption of free commerce”. Right on!

A brief excerpt:

“Alderman Edward Burke, who sponsored the law in Chicago, said the flavored candies will lead children to experiment with the real thing. Maybe Mr. Burke should consider endorsing broccoli-flavored ice cream, or asparagus soda pop.”
