Terrorists Attack London
A series of terrorist attacks on a London bus and in the city's "Tube" subway system has resulted in massive casualties. The BBC reports 2 dead and at least 100 injured, though the Manchester Evening News is reporting that a packed double-decker bus was "ripped apart by a massive blast."
This is reminiscent of the terrible March 11, 2004 Madrid synchronized train bombings. Meanwhile, British intelligence reports that a previously unknown Al Qaeda-linked group has claimed responsibility for the London blasts.
