Who Said That?

As a bone to the Liberal Weenie, who I’ve threatened to throw in jail, here’s a link to a good op-ed in Today’s Washington Times in support of using anonymous sources. While the author (and for that matter the Liberal Weenie) makes some really good arguments, I still contend that serious reporters (as opposed to unaccountable bloggers) should avoid using anonymous sources. According to the author a new Associate Press found that only about 25% of newspapers never allow their reporters to use anonymous sources.
