Brooks & Dunn, Jesus & Pieces

I just watched my first Brooks & Dunn video, Red Dirt Road, which was followed by a little Q&A from the CMT host with Kix Brooks & Ronnie Dunn live in-studio as part of the network's Brooks & Dunn's Top 10. The song contains one of the worst rhyming couplets in recent memory:

It's where I drank my first beer.
It's where I found Jesus.
Where I wrecked my first car:
I tore it all to pieces.
Pieces came out like peeeeeeee saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyys just to make the Jesus/pieces couplet work. OK, so maybe it's not that bad compared to the rest of what passes for pop music these days, but the song had no business being on anyone's top-10 list (fans voted it the #2 B&D song of all time.)

Update: I was reminded last night that for so many reasons this is probably the worst song of all time.
