Our Most Dangerous Jobs (A Tobacco-Free List)
According to figures released yesterday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics the most dangerous jobs in America are (in order) logger/airline pilot (tie), fisherman, steelworker, garbage collector, farmer, roofer, power-line worker, truck driver, and taxi driver. (Note: I slightly simplified the job titles in the list.)
Missing from the list: worker in a bar, tavern or restauarant that permits smoking. If they are truly concerned about worker safety, the freedom-hating ingrates at SmokeFreeDC (or any other SmokeFree[City/State]) might better serve the so-called "public health" by working to outlaw garbage collection, farming, electricity, driving or roofing.
