Before I was Simply Aggravating, but Now I'm...

...Agitating. Until sometime in October, or whenever he tires of reading what I have to say, Radley Balko has brought me on board as a guest blogger at The Agitator. (Besides Radley, who will continue to post at a less feverish pace, I'm joining some excellent bloggers there in the big, comfy guest chair.)

You can find my introductory post here. My second post, just up, is about the utter lack of celebrities in DC. Here's an excerpt:

George W. Bush, our best hope, is in no way a celebrity. He becomes a celebrity every August when he retreats to his Crawford, Tx. ranch and is pursued by media throngs who hover on his every bicycling accident, but a month or so later he returns to his un-celebrity in the nation's capital, content to count sheep by 9 p.m.
What I've learned since I've been over there: I like Blogger but we should have gone with TypePad. Oh, and there are tons of free snacks at The Agitator. And naked women everywhere. And a secret handshake.

I'll cross-post here as much as possible. And I hope Agitator visitors will feel welcome to come over to these parts, use our facilties, borrow a cup of sugar, etc.
