Will the Real "Surf City, USA" Please Stand Up?
Here's an AP story on two California cities duking it out for the title.
That two state Senators are formally carrying this dispute in the legislative process is more comical than anything. Hopefully this will not become a matter of federal concern when John Campbell heads to Congress later this year.
There should be no dispute as to what the real surf city in the United States is: Honolulu, Hawai'i. One need only look to the history of California surfing to understand where the haoles got the idea. George Freeth didn't come from the continental United States, after all.
