Planning For My Future
So I was honestly (and many would say very naively) disappointed that I did not hold one of the winning Powerball tickets last night. I mean this is my way of investing in my retirement. I saw the long lines during my lunch outing yesterday and thought it was still worth standing there with the other folks at the liquor store hoping for a chance at the easy money.
I know. It is irrational and statistically improbable that I will ever win the lottery in my life. Ever. However when I saw that a member of the U.S. Senate won some money, I couldn't help but wonder what the chances of that could possibly be?? One of the hundred senators won over $800,000?? Damn it! Then I was talking to Cicero and he mentioned another Senator had won a lottery some years ago. Coincidence? Conspiracy? Whichever, it makes me mad.
Back to square one for me...and on to Saturday night's drawing.
