The Tampon Formerly Known as Prince Charles Speaks

Prince Charles, the principled chap who (you may recall) has come out against a Dracula theme park and a road in Bratislava while waxing poetic about the happy ant-like post-colonial creatures who inhabit India's slums and his wish to be a tampon, is now attacking progress in advance of his upcoming U.S. tour.
If you make everything over efficient, you suck out, it seems to me, every last drop of what, up to now, has been known as culture.
Ah, yes. What it must be like to long for the days when the serfs toiled the land from dawn til dusk and died aged 35. How simple life was before the Industrial Revolution, especially for a future king.
