Unmarried Women Rule!

Update from the what's with all this news about unmarried women files...

First Paris backed out of her proposed nuptials, then we were introduced to never-married Harriet Miers, which was followed by reports of that possibly suggestive Condi Rice interview on Fox News. (One point I've not seen noted is that, during the interview, Madame Secretary deftly dodges a question about whether she'd ever done drugs).

Up now: Nick has dumped Jessica. Shocker. Didn't see it coming. There's no joy in Mudville, though, as Gawker commenter Kirker notes:

I'm crying as I type this. I weep for the embarrassingly named children they will never bring into this world. No Apple. No Kal-El. No Pilot Inspektor!
