God Bless the Federal Courts

One of my goals in life was to get elected to public office so I could mount a legal challenge to the opening of legislative sessions with prayers. I guess someone beat me to it. The Indiana Legislature is now barred from opening its session with Christian prayers. While I think they should be barred from opening the session with any kind of prayer, a prohibition on invoking Jesus Christ is a good start.

On a related note, this is a good time as any to suggest that atheists, agnostics, and skeptics launch a full-frontal assault on religion and religious people. I'm fed up with religious folks forcing their morality on me. So, it's time to fight back. Since they have no concern for my liberty, I have no concern for theirs. If I could ban the Bible I would. But, I'll start with making it a crime to pray in public. And I'm not just talking about public schools, etc. I'm talking about banning praying anywhere in public - restaurants, subway, parks, etc. Until Christian wackos realize we will take away their liberty if they take away ours, they will have no incentive to stop using the state to advance their moral codes.
