The Next Anti-Smoking Fascist I See Will Get a Punch in the Face

Proving once again that it lacks the commitment to freedom required to deserve statehood, the District of Colombia passed legislation today banning smoking in bars. DC Mayor Anthony Williams may veto it, but since it passed 12-1 I'm sure the city council will win in the end. As promised, I will begin looking for housing outside this despotic city which doesn't deserve - and will soon no longer get - my tax money. From my perch in Maryland or Virginia I will then plot my revenge on the fascists who stole my liberty. I suppose I should start by no longer being friends with people who support the ban.
