Bill Clinton Loves My Oral Skills

An unnamed senior White House official - who I will call Apple - sent me this gem from the New York Daily News:

Meanwhile, Clinton laughed off a Times story in which some said his wife's oratory paled next to his own. Speechwriter Ted Sorenson had likened Hillary to Cicero, of whom it was said, "How well he spoke," and Bill to Demosthenes, who inspired crowds to exclaim, "Let us march!"

"I called her this morning," said Bill. "I said, 'Cicero was a damn fine orator!'"

In related news, Jessica Simpson is a whore.
Who was raising all that ruckus in Jessica Simpson's hotel room last week? Us Weekly claims that the "Dukes of Hazzard" star and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine cavorted so loudly at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont on Feb. 7 that security had to tell them to pipe down. (The mag also claims her thing with Levine started during her marriage to Nick Lachey.) Star magazine reports that, only three days before, Simpson had a boisterous Chateau romp with Jude Law.
