The Jager Mom

Last night John LaBeaume (who I’ve called the Karl Rove of the Libertarian Party) and I developed a new political demographic that he aptly calls the Jager Mom. The Jager Mom is married with children, but still likes to party. She supports the war in Iraq and is suspicious of Arabs, but doesn't want her son to die for no reason. She’s pro-life, but would get an abortion (and may have already had one). She opposes same sex marriage, but has fun drinking with gay men. The Jager Mom is the new Soccer Mom, the new Holy Grail of winning competitive elections. She may or may not be married to the NASCAR Dad. The party that gets the Jager Mom vote in November will pick up seats in the House and Senate. You heard it here first.
