700 Reasons to Puke

Reason's Italian-American-Spanish-National-Anthem-Loving Nick Gillespie brings attention to the fact that Democratic Party Chair Howard Dean was recently playing kissy face with Pat Robertson on the 700 Club as he proudly - and incorrectly - said that the Democratic Party's platform states that marriage is between one man and one woman. Now, I live in DC so my vote really doesn't matter. But, I'm looking for an excuse to root for Democrats in November. And while punishing Republicans for their wicked ways is nice and all, I would at least like to believe that something good might come out of a Democratic upset. Like equal rights for gays and lesbians. Or impeachment proceedings. Or less draconian drug laws. You know something to make up for the higher taxes, price controls, and other “progressive” lunacy.
