From DFW Channel 8, we learn of a Methodist congregation in need of some serious capacity to forgive.

A denominational official, the Rev. Jimmy Nunn, is asking members of Mount Vernon Methodist Church to find forgiveness in their hearts for former pastor James Cornell Clark, arrested last week on a charge of compelling prostitution. Mr. Clark remained in jail Sunday with bail set at $150,000 on charges that he compelled a 21-year-old Kenyan woman to have sex with him in payment for money he spent bringing her to Texas and enrolling her in college. He has said he has as many as six African wives. Officials also are questioning his credentials and found he had been convicted of tax evasion in 1987.
