It's Curtains for Ward Churchill

Ward Churchill's despicable comment about the white-collar victims of the WTC attack being "little Eichmanns" was clearly protected under the First Amendment. I disagreed vehemently with those who called for his head based on that remark alone. But the controversy did focus the spotlight on Churchill's academic record, and in the end, the news is not good.
A University of Colorado investigative committee found deliberate and serious misconduct by ethnic studies professor Ward Churchill, including plagiarism, fabrication, and "serious deviation from accepted practices in reporting results from research," according to a report made public today.
It's hard to see how the university could keep Churchill on the faculty now. Stick a fork in him, he's done.
