Dick Armey Still Head of the Dick Army

Oh, Dick. Remember when you inappropriately referred to your gay colleague Barney Frank as Barney Fag? Yeah, we all know you were desperate to prove your manliness to the world. Well, how many people will you have to insult to get over this?

Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-Texas) sent flowers Friday to Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) to thank him for his work on getting the line-item veto legislation passed. Armey, chairman of the grass-roots organization FreedomWorks, hailed the legislation as a "key piece"” of the 1994 "Contract with America." Always one to quote his favorite country tunes, Armey told HOH, "Like the song goes, I usually have whiskey for my men and beer for my horses, but in this case flowers will do."

I'm no expert on manliness, but I'm pretty sure it's gay to send flowers to another man. Actually, I don't even think gay men send flowers to each other. They're way to manly for that. I can only hope Barney Frank accidentally refers to Dick Armey as Pussy Armey.
