Evil Joins with Evil for Lots of Evil

I hate health fascists. And I hate union leaders. So, you know I must really, really, really hate when the two groups work together. Via The Agitator:

Barely a week into its attack on KFC, the health fascists at CSPI are now targeting Starbucks for its "high-fat" and "high-calorie" products. They've joined up with the fledgling union of Starbucks employees, which thus far looks to have all of about a dozen members. Here's the best part:

The union contends that Starbucks staff gain weight when they work at the chain. They are offered unlimited beverages and leftover pastries for free during their shifts.

God damn you, Starbucks.

This is why organized labor is so important. Otherwise, who's going
expose Starbucks' exploitive practice of giving its emloyees free stuff?

I would like to see the person who drinks a large amount of a stimulant and gains weight. It just doesn't happen. Drinking coffee is a way to lose weight. It fills you up so you don't need to have breakfast. That's why weight-trainers tell people who are trying to gain weight to avoid coffee. Of course, it's doubtful that the people at the Center for Science in the Public Private Interest have ever talked to a scientist about anything. (I'm really to concede that gayifying your coffee with whipcream and caramel will add calories, but you would still have to be a lazy S.O.B. to gain weight by drinking lots of stimulants.) What's next, suing beer companies on behalf of people who lose weight drinking beer????
