Obviously inspired by the conservative-rock analyst at National Review -- aren't we all? -- NME.com has compiled an ideologically free list of the top albums of all time.

Topping the list is Oasis's astonishing 1994 debut, Definitely Maybe. I'm among the few readers here who is probably overjoyed with the choice.
