Pure Evil Spotted Amidst Good Lunch
I spied a frail-looking Paul Wolfowitz grabbing take-out this afternoon at the excellent Open City in Woodley Park. But enough about him...
Open City -- owned by the same folks who own Tryst and The Diner (love the latter, never been to the former) -- serves up some great coffee, booze and very good, reasonably priced food until 2 a.m. Breakfast is served all day. Though it was crowded during lunch today, I was able to find an uncluttered spot at the bar, where I grabbed an excellent Cobb Salad, a few glasses of iced tea, and a pound of their whole-bean coffee to go.
Two thumbs up. (One up for Open City, the other covered in latex, doused in hot sauce, and jammed up Wolfowitz's ass.)
