AOL Joins Hunt for Nazi Gold (Sort Of)
This is funny:
Um, sure. Name one person you know who gets their Internet from AOL. That would be AOL, which was earlier this year dubbed the "worst tech product of all time" by PC World. The same AOL that's been hemoragghing customers by the millions.
That AOL. So desperate that it's stooped to hoeing and gold-digging.
America Online is prepared to take a backhoe to a Medfield couple’s yard in a search for as much as $500,000 in hidden gold and platinum bars it believes may have been buried there by their neo-Nazi son who made millions off of Internet spam scams. But the fact that the author of this Boston Herald article also refers to AOL as "the giant Internet provider" might be even funnier.
