It's Always a Victimless Crime When the Only People Hurt are Paris Hilton and Her Fans

A spokesperson for "guerilla artist" Bansky says he doctored 500 copies of Paris Hilton's debut album in 48 record shops across the UK.

Banksy has replaced Hilton's CD with his own remixes and given them titles such as Why am I Famous?, What Have I Done? and What Am I For? He has also changed pictures of her on the CD sleeve to show the US socialite topless and with a dog's head.

[The spokesperson] told the BBC News website: "He switched the CDs in store, so he took the old ones out and put his version in." But he left the original barcode so people could buy the CD without realising it had been interfered with.

Awesome. Although a better prank would have been to put rose-smelling scratch-and-sniff stickers over her vagina on the album cover. Because people would be surprised that it doesn't smell like a decaying corpse with a pile of dog shit in its mouth. That would be guerilla art. Or gorilla art given the subject matter.
