The Slope Is, Indeed, Slippery

First they banned smoking in airplanes, saying it was only airplanes and it was a safety issue. Then it was movie theaters. Next on the agenda was restaurants, but it would never be bars. When they banned smoking in bars, they said you can always smoke in your house and we won't take that away. But in SF, they are doing just that, and we knew they would:
One of the most common complaints received by the Health Department is smoking. The legislation would also prohibit smoking in common areas, which includes lobbies, hallways, shared cooking areas and play areas.
This law applies to any shared apartment.
