First it was just innocent IMing. Then he resigned. Then he was in treatment for alcohol abuse. Today, the mental illness wrinkle showed up. And now this:

[T]he lawyer for Mark Foley, the Florida Republican who resigned his House seat Friday as the scandal was emerging, said Foley was molested between the ages of 13 and 15 by a clergyman.
