Holy Guacamole!

In the latest chapter of frivolous consumer lawsuits against corporations a woman in Los Angeles is suing Kraft Foods because its guacamole doesn't contain very much avocado.
"It just didn't taste avocadoey," said Brenda Lifsey, who used Kraft Dips Guacamole in a three-layer dip last year. "I looked at the ingredients and found there was almost no avocado in it."

She is seeking unspecified damages and a Superior Court order barring Kraft from calling its dip guacamole. Her suit seeks class-action status.
This suit ought to be thrown out of court based on the buyer's acknowledgment that the ingredients were in fact listed on the packaging and that the guac couldn't have cost more than a few dollars. I suspect that sleaze bag attorneys are driving this suit, seeking a class-action bonanza, and Lifsey is just a frontwoman. Honestly, why else would a woman who spent a few bucks on a crappy food product take the trouble and expense to sue?
