Vote for Sombebody Else

Literally. Write in "Somebody Else" for as many races as possible. Do it. You know you want to. If you do, you will be able to say "don't blame me, I voted for somebody else".

The Washington Post has changed its Congressional Countdown to largely reflect what I wrote about yesterday. Only 10 Republican House seats lean Democrat. 18 are toss-ups. 2 Democrats are in trouble. In the Senate, only 2 Republican seats lean Democrat. 1 now leans Republican. And 4 are toss-ups.

The Hill asked political strategists and former politicians how today will turn out. Joe Scarborough told them he expected Dems to pick up 30 seats in the House and 6 seats in the Senate, taking control of both. Which is strange because he told Roll Call that Dems would only pick up 15 seats in the House and 4 seats in the Senate. What is he smoking? Grover Norquist says Repubicans will narrowly keep control of both.
