Sowell's Soul

Thomas Sowell does his best Norm MacDonald doing Larry King in his latest piece for
NRO.[me doing Norm doing King--"Elephants...Gestation period of 22 months...Good for humans, or not? Middle East...Potential Global Hot Spot?"] I've never noticed until this column, but his headshot for NRO also comes close to the MacDonald impersonation of King. Some excerpts below but read the whole thing, Sowell is Sowell, no matter how much

Many of the same people who are urging us to get out of Iraq are also urging us to go into Darfur. They say we should "do something" about the murderous horrors in Darfur. But you cannot simply "do something." You have to do something specific. Those who are urging intervention won't take the responsibility for specifying what we are to do — and at what cost in American lives.
