What Do Parents Do?

It happened once again. I was trying to put together a post of substance; a comparison to the reasons behind the recent ban on Internet gaming by the Chinese, and the reasons our government cites for continued prohibition (whether it be drugs or gambling..etc). Instead I end up lost on the ONDCPs website reading parents comments on how much it sucks to be a parent of "misguided" children. Responsibility, shudder.

Let me stress that if you are not able to laugh at others misfortunes and poor choices you will not find these personal statements the least bit humorous. However, if you are like me and you sold your soul long ago --in my case to a guy named Barry at a corner barber shop for a lollipop and a fancy hairdo -- you will get a hearty chuckle out of these. If not, try and remember that these are the type of people who form groups like MADD and carry on about what is the proper way to live your life. That should make it go down a bit easier.

I'll leave you with one of my favorite warnings (emphasis added)
Young people today have tough choices. I don't understand why our law enforcement people cannot get a handle on the drug situation, but apparently they cannot. Therefore, our youth are going to have to outsmart the people who seek to make addicts out of them. Wise up, young people, and think about where that stoned pathway will lead is a desolate wasteland out there. The people trying to lead you to that wasteland are NOT your friends.
