Mel C: Just Because

I bought former Spice Girl Mel C's most recent album for a buck at Tower Records during their going-out-of-business sale. It's not half bad.

The video for her new cover of Bow Wow Wow's The Strangeloves' I Want Candy is most notable for the fact that the formerly chavish Sporty Spice looks... great.

How great? Trading in the tracksuit for a leather bodysuit, she looks hooked up to some sort of Demi Moore juvenation machine great.

I missed it the first 25 times I watched it, but this song is also Mel C's official coming-out party (singing the historically gender-malleable song as, I know a girl who's tough but sweet/She's so fine she can't be beat).
