I'm taking advantage of a weekly holiday that I like to call, "Non-Profit Friday" and catching up on some reading. I just came across this "puppycide"post from a couple days back (so pardon me if you've already seen it) at The Agitator. Disgusting. The scariest part of the story? The raid for was drug use. Suspected drug use.

Cops were typically classy in their response to questions about keeping the suspect in a holding cell over night, while forcing her to continue to wear the blood-soaked clothes from the raid. Police Chief Gary Bitler:

"I would probably prefer they didn't make her do that," Bitler said. "I guess that's all hindsight."

Yeah, and I guess hindsight is the perfect catch-all excuse for any situation.
