Thoughts on the Virginia Tech Tragedy

The evidence so far about Cho Seung-Hui seems to indicate that he gave off big signals that he was a homicidal maniac before he killed 32 Virginia Tech students. How the college allowed him to stay there, I have no idea.

First, he stalked a female student, who it appears was his first victim, Emily Hilscher. She had evidently complained about him and nothing was done.

Second, Cho set a fire in his dorm room. That, in addition to the stalking accusations, should have gotten him kicked off campus. But there is more.

Cho's creative writing caused his professor to refer him for counseling as it was so disturbing. For a full transcript of his unsettling play go here.
