Memorial Day DC Party Scene Post

I am exhausted from this weekend. I went to four parties, three of which I brought dishes to. Still, they were all interesting.

The first, on Friday night, was hosted by a World Bank senior employee and her partner. They are my role models, as one is Italian and drives an M3 and the other is Mexican and they are both very sexy. They have been together for 20 years, holy cow, and still have frequent sex. But what they are so excited about is that the Wolf has resigned. Party host is very diplomatic but has said over the past few years (and she directly reported to Paul) that he is the most arrogant SOB that she has ever met.

The second party sucked and the third was okay but I will skip to the fourth, which was hosted by Rebecca, the genius bartender at Buck's, and her husband Richie who cooks at Restaurant Eve. Oh yeah. They had pork short ribs and crabs and all sort of sides.
