Hey Look...
there's a GOP debate on right now. Fox News. I'll do my best to stay on it, but unless Rudy and Mitt go into the "Invite" room and start hooking up, I might have to switch back to the Real World.
Yea!!..Family values time. Bring on the Larry Craig questions!
9:35ish--Good thing we have these debates or else I wouldn't know that Sam Brownback supports a Constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. For that matter, I wouldn't know that Same Brownback was still running for president...
9:45--Romney is greasy. Too greasy. Who doesn't want to take their cock out and just slap it across his face a dozen times or so, just to see if he has a honest reaction.
McCain--We've won in Iraq!! Wait a second.....I don't think that's accurate..
That was amusing. Chris Wallace to Paul after Paul's follow-up to McCain on Iraq -- "You just said we should take our marching orders from Al-Qaeda". Paul hit back pretty hard. Says no, "I take my marching orders from the Constitution". Apparently this intense conversation about America's foreign policy and the lives of hundreds of thousands of American soldiers is funny to the other GOP candidates on stage as they chuckled--quite loudly--through the exchange.
9:55--Huckabee and Paul had a back forth. Both were rhetorically competent, with Paul ending it by emotionally pleading with the guys on stage not to let the party slip into oblivion by continuing to make the same foreign policy mistakes.
Tancredo time!!!!!! Wooooooo!!!! I don't really have anything to comment on; I just enjoy...Tancredo Time!!!!!!!!
10:05--This is as close to an exact quote from Romney as I can provide on the fly. He was asked a question about wire-tapping places of worship or schools, where suspected terrorist planning may be occurring. He threw in a quick throwaway line addressing civil rights concerns --Romney--"I know people sometimes ask, Hey wait a minute we have civil rights to worry about. The most important civil liberty to me is the right of my government to keep me alive."
10:14--Does anyone really think that Giuliani won't win the nomination? I'd still put money on him at 7-1. Impossible to watch these things and not see what must be the inevitable.
10:25--Some d-bag college student just asked a question to Rudy about family values and "leading by example". He says, "It'simportant an important value to me in a candidate." This is the same guy who probably wouldn't let me question the religious beliefs of candidates that say the Earth was created 6,000 years ago.
Annoying to listen to laughs on stage every time Paul is asked a question.
