Don't Fuck With My Clock

Along with a billion or so other people I googled "daylight savings time" at 1:00am this morning. I was reminded of this:
Don't set your clocks back an hour this weekend or you'll have a lot of coworkers laughing at you on Monday morning. This year, Daylight Saving Time ends 2 a.m. the first Sunday in November, instead of the last Sunday in October.
Remember? Congress decided back in 2005 to grant us an extra week of sunlight in the fall, starting this year, and it seems as though the Canadians have followed suit. Enter angry Canadian and anti-daylight savings comment posters. From the comments section of the above National Post article:

Why are we doing this??

What is wrong with this picture that we are changing the method of keeping time, when our own biological clocks are designed to run on a 25 hour day for our optimal performance???

Somehow along the lines we have been following the suit of people from the past who had lesser knowledge in terms of how and why our systems work the way they do...

we are all just a stupid flock of mindless sheep...bahhh...bahhh

This is utter nonsense the real reason for the daylight savings time being pushed later and earlier is so Kingford charcoal can sell more charcoal. Years ago they lobbied Congress to push the daylight savings time two weeks earlier on both ends of the calendar. Then they pushed it again and added another week. It's all about the money folks. It has nothing to do with energy savings, lol. That's the ploy to get everyone to think it is.

You poor people, still worrying about clocks and times and other manufactured disasters in your lives. The chickens will manage their lives quite well, no matter what the clock says, and udders will fill according to a non-government-imposed regulation. I will get up in their time, and not worry about such silliness. You would have my pity were it not for the levels of other emotions blocking the pity. Your lives, following your masters voices, and jumping into the swamp when the rabbit passes.
