Side note: Does anyone else think that our country's problem -- in the last 8 years or any other time in the past -- has ever been that we fail to "tackle nuanced and complex problems"? Wouldn't that be Iraq? A complex and nuanced problem...

We love to try and solve problems, but it usually turns out, no matter who is in power, that we've made the problem much worse in the process of trying to solve it.
