The Do-Nothing Congress? I Like the Sound of That
The Washington Post's David Broder declares that gerrymandering voting districts is a bad, bad thing because:
Gerrymandered, one-party districts tend to send highly partisan representatives to the House or the legislature, contributing to the gridlock in government that is so distasteful to voters.Distasteful to Washington Post editorialists maybe. For the rest of us, a Congress incapable of passing any bills is about the best we can hope for.
